Great Book
Hi, guys! In between book club books, I've been reading a great novel--The Story of Edgar Sawtelle. It's actually a re-telling/new take on the Hamlet story, kind of like Jane Smiley's A Thousand Acres is a re-telling of King Lear. Anyway, regardless of its roots, the story is really compelling. I know we have a lot of dog lovers in the club, and this is a book for you (and everyone else, really)! Check it out in your "free" time. :) Look forward to seeing you all on the 29th!

If you hadn't told me it was Shakespeare-inspired I probably would have been interested. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteYou can ignore the Hamlet stuff (although I don't understand why). :) It really is a good book on its own.
